  • Hebrew School Class registration is open for September 2017 start date.  Please call the office for more information.
  • Weekly Shabbos Services are Saturday at 9:00 AM
  • Friday Night Services are at 7:30 PM unless there is a special Friday Night service. See calendar.
  • Talmud Class every Tuesday at 6:30PM
  • Rosh Hashana September 21 and 22
    • Erev Rosh Hashana 7:00 PM  (Wednesday night)
    • Tashlich Thursday afternoon at 1:00 PM at home of Liverant’s
    • Rosh Hashana morning services start at 8:30AM  (Thursday and Friday)

    • Kol Nidre 6:15 PM (Friday Night)
    • Yom Kippur day starts at 8:30 AM (Saturday)
    • Mincha continues at 4:45 followed by Neila followed by Break the Fast


The Ahavath Achim Synagogue on 84 Lebanon Avenue in Colchester will hold a Juried Artisan and Craft Show on Sunday, November 5, 2017, from 10AM to 3PM. Artisans and Crafters that create handmade products are invited to participate is this show. This is a juried Show. Samples or pictures of the work to be sold must accompany your application. 4’, 8’ and corner spaces are available. Artisans and Crafters interested in displaying and selling their handmade products should contact Arlene Snyder at 860-603-2449 or Dina Zuckerman at 860-886-3736 with any questions and to obtain an application.

Hebrew School

Our Hebrew/Sunday School is one of the most important functions of our Synagogue, since it prepares our children to take our place as Keeper of the Faith.
